Rise of the Tomb Raider coming to PC in early 2016

QTEs are an absolute PITA for me. I have always had Playstations ever since the PS1 and the only time I use an XB pad is on a few pc games. So I am forever pressing the wrong button when it says press 'X' Every. Single. Time.

In the demo i came across a few, and a lot of tap "x" to break something etc

Its not too bad but any more and i would be put off a bit! Visually though it looks awesome. Hope the dtory is better this time!

You guys that pre order are saying you don't care how it turns out, here's my money anyway.
That's not what it means at all. Devs dont slack off just because they have a good amount of pre-orders. Not how it works. Sales on and after launch will make up the majority of revenue, so putting out the best product they can Day 1 is always top priority.

Besides, these places people are pre-ordering from there aren't official pre-orders. They are basically sites that wait til they get codes/retail copies themselves and then send them to customers. Square has no idea how many pre-orders are sold through these sites beforehand.

I played the Xbox one demo tonight, seemed excellent to me.

Looked pretty good even at that pish resolution. 60fps controller response on PC will be appreciated of course though, and those graphics at 4k will be immense.

Lets hope SLI works!

Yeah Microsoft/Xbox's Major Nelson also just confirmed January 28th for this. Now, all I need is a 1440p+ monitor to thoroughly enjoy this!

Hmm. Says there Windows 10. Has this been confirmed to ONLY run on windows 10? Had a lot of problems with 10 on two separate machines so am sticking with 7 for now. No doubt if it's 10 only it will have a HUGE impact on sales and may even mean any further games might not appear on PC. I hope the kickback from MS for this is HUGE. Like Millions of dollars as it could lose them hundreds of thousands of sales.

When it says Windows 10 and steam.
It means its going to be on the windows 10 app store and also on steam.
Since its on DX11 I dont see why it wouldnt support Windows 7.

Also min specs on that link clearly say Minimum OS: Windows 7 64bit

That unfortunately doesn't stop games being released that are broken or plagued with bugs that then require patches to fix in subsequent weeks/months.

So it does. I didn't see that. Sweet, I'll pick it up at the end of the month.

At least they had the sense to not force Win 10 only on us (this sold 1m only on XB1 nowhere near enough to recover the dev budget without PC+PS4 sales).

The price with the season pass is a bit steep though! £59.98

Season pass is £20, so if you pre ordered the STEAM key off a key site then the total inc season pass would be £40 surely?
