RIVE no dvi output?

So interesting problem,

My RIVE will not output via DVI. I thought it might be the graphics card, so switched it out for a known working one with a vga and dvi output.... vga works... dvi doesnt.

Any ideas?

done a full cmos clear? battery out,save any oc bios settings beforehand

cant think why it wont output other than a mb fault

You tried other PCI X slots. Slot 3 is also 16x like slot 1.
