I don't know if anyone can help with this but...
I just got my new Toshiba laptop this morning (A100-147, the one you can get from a couple of popular high street retailers) and basically a perfectly standard network cable has got stuck in the lan jack and I can't seem to get it out.
Just to assure you I'm not an idiot, yes I am pinching down on the clip! I've tried wiggling it, pulling it upwards/downwards/left/right.. every way I can think and it just won't come out. I can pull the laptop along my desk by the cable whilst pressing the clip down, rather than it actually coming out.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm worried if I pull on it really hard I might just damage something inside the laptop itself.
Cheers for any ideas,
Felix
