Ok basically in our office we have little panels on the walls with 4 rj45 sockets in that all our pcs plug into but due to them being low to the ground the keep getting kicked etc which brakes them, i just wondered if any of you knew of a recessed panal or even a panal that sticks out from the wall but lets me plug the cables in vertically rather than horizontally? any other suggestions? thanks

you can get similar panels that have the sockets at 45 degrees down or up.
Though if it's an issue probably cheaper in the long run to blank them out and run all the cables down one pipe and into dado higher up.

yea would be easier to have all the cables running from each pc to the switch but think they want it this way, any idea where to get the 45 degree panals from? i have seen them somewhere but cant remember

any hardware store that sells mains sockets etc. will have them.

Easier.....yes, until you want to move/add something. Your network team did it right, your architect was the weak link.
