RM1000i capacitors on cable needed on custom cables?

I just picked up a RM1000i to replace my EVGA 550GS and want to make some custom heave duty silicon wire cable like I did for my EVGA but noticed the RM has inline capacitors on their leads,are they needed?

Hi

Those are for extra ripple suppression. You can remove them if you want without causing any problems.
