Does anyone know the RMA procedues for Gigabyte and Asus motherboards? I've got:

1. 1 x Asus A8N-E bought about a year ago from OcUK, but I've lost the receipt. Stopped working and I confirmed with a friend who also has a 939 system that the board is broken and not my components.

2. 1 x Gigabyte DS3 (which I think is broken) that I bought in Sweden a week ago.

Can I contact the manufacturers here in the UK directly?

With Asus, you have to fill in the technical enquiry form, they'll then pass you around to various people before sending you an excel form which you fill in then send back. They'll then give you an RMA number and address.

Only send the damaged part, not the CDs or accessories. They say turn-around time is about 4 weeks.
