Not sure if anyone can help.
I have the above camera as a rear facing camera.
Seems to have been working fine and always check the blue record light is flashing.
However, having gone to pull some footage (fortunately not critical) today, it appears it hasn't recorded anything since beginning of August.
I've formatted the memory card and it is now recording but somewhat concerned that it might happen again.

Any thoughts?
Main concern is shows it is recording, which I wouldn't expect if it was a memory card issue.

I haven't got the vision but my Roadhawk will scream at me if it has any issues, the amount of times I used to here ding ding SD Card or camera error when my last SD card was starting to fail was tedious to say the least, ended up having to unplug it for a few days until a new card arrived.

Hey, I keep out of the main thread, but come on, multiple dashcams?! If you are that paranoid get the bus :p

You need to embrace the I'm watching you mentality. :D

We've not got any dashcams in any of our cars, yet but with the last accident my wife was involved in a few years ago a camera would have proved that the other party was both lying and not paying attention to her driving. In the end we had to settle for 50/50.

Nothing to do with paranoia, and they came into their own recently.
Car hit me recently on a roundabout, then there was an argument over blame. Supplied front and rear footage and it was clear cut the other party was at fault.
I rarely watch footage unless I need to keep something.
Just a funny incident last night that made me check the camera.

Hopefully OK now anyway. It does jingle when powered, but it seems to be a startup tone rather than error.

I bought two new cards for front and back cameras - had a bit of no recording which turned out to be they needed formatting - Even so my rear one lost two files when I looked as coming back from Shrewsbury I had a Jag XJ tail gating me and I mean close - He couldn't go anywhere or so I thought - I was behind a truck who was behind a tractor and trailer on bendy road with white lines - But being in a Jag he want for it - overtook the three of us - He just made it because line of traffic approaching did a quick stop - I had front footage but not the back - When the camera packs up you just hope it isn't at wrong time. - I now feel naked if I know the camera isn't working - had them for a good 5 years now.
