I see the weather these days is getting better, assurably to do with the changing of the seasons.

So yeah, is there anybody around this lovely Reading area that also likes to ride motorcycles? I've only recently got me an F800ST after a couple years out of it and I know: zero people here with bikes. I also know: zero decent roads, though saying that I did have a simply delightful time riding up to Henley from Sonning t'other day, isnit.

From Reading you've a few ways you can head out to get to some nice roads. Common ones that are used often are out of Caversham and out to Benson/Wallingford on the A4074. There is (I think it is still there) a cafe at Dorchester where you'll meet lots of bikers having a cuppa/fry up. On the way back you can head off to Henley at one of the roundabouts instead of going on to Reading.

You can also head on from Dorchester (well on the way back from Dorchester to Reading/Henley) to Stadhampton via the A329 (you get to it from one of the Roundabouts). Be warned that there is a very sharp 140 degree or so left hander (if you are heading to Stadhampton) on this road. From Stadhampton you can then take the B480 to Chalgrove/Watlington which will in turn take you on towards Stonor/Henley. The route would look something like this.

Just be careful when you are near to Dorchester as it is a wide road and you can easily be tempted in to speeding down there but there is normally a speed trap down there.

H-cafe do a bike night every monday and i think it starts this monday,

Nice run from reading way also
