Roadtrip New Hampshire - Georgia.

Driving down to Georgia on friday to see the sister in law. She's being posted to Afganistan with the USAF so we thought we better see her before she goes.

Not looking forward to it, its 1200 miles and my jeep developed an engine problem last week, so we are taking the Chevy Cobalt. Only really used it to drive to work so its untested on long trips. Fingers crossed it will get us there and back ok. Should be cheaper on gas though at 36 MPG compaired to the jeeps 20mpg. We thought about flying but its way more expensive.

looks like were not going to risk driving the cobalt 2400 miles, when its not been used for long distances, so were hiring something economical on gas. Plus we get a good discount with our wholesale club discount.

Its going to be Interstate driving but should see some nice scenery on the way.

I hired a Colbolt SS back in 2003 - think it is the same car. i wouldnt risk it, the gearbox developed a problem, car had most likey been abused as it was a hire car.
