Well, after watching that, the animation was pretty amazing, apart from that "fake shaky cam" effect which got in the way, but the content was pretty rubbish. My pet hate - "Mechs" that end up acting like a big metal person instead of a machine controlled by a crew (I'm just assuming that from what they say about the German one though) and the usual, typically american assumption that WWII was just them vs. the Germans and the Japanese.
Plus, mech walks into big naval base with thousands of man-years worth of ships just sitting there....obviously has the capability to take them out, and then just starts shooting jeeps and buildings? Take out all the ships! Don't just play with them.
The Samurai one was cool though.
