Swapped over to the 5950x, just get Q code 02 and green boot LED but no display and doesnt boot, swapped back to the 1700 and doing the same thing.

Any ideas, I have re-seated the memory but didnt disturb anything apart from the AIO cpu cooler when swapping so a bit strange.

I have done bios reset using the button on the rear, tried safe boot and they all do the same thing, it goes through the Q codes and stops on 02.

EDIT: strange but re-seating the graphics card sorted it, crikey the 3950x is a monster of a CPU, happy with the improvement over my 1700 :D
Thanks for the update, good to know if I decide to upgrade my cpu

I replaced my 1700x with a 5900x, installed the new bios and straight swap and it's over twice as fast in cinebench and went from 20-25fps to 55-65fps in flight sim, no tweaking or reinstall. It's amazing and brilliant I don't have to buy a new board or ram

I have recently gone from a 1700x to 5600 and the system runs so much more smoothly and was a breeze to setup.
Currently on Bios 8601 and for me is the best bios yet. Along with the 5600 I upgraded the memory to a Team Group 8Pack Edition 32GB Dual Channel Kit and installed and set DCOP to 3600 and works with no messing with settings unlike my Flare X kit which i had previously.

Thanks, I already team group non 8pack ram so it would be either add another 16gb or replace the lot.
