Hey folks, Does anyone know what version of M.2/NVME is on the X570 ROG Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard?

Honestly I didn't know there was a version on these but after watching a few videos on YT, I found that there was. Basically my reason for this is that I have just purchased a Firecuda 530 2TB from OCUK (cheapest and reliable as always) and again going by the videos I see the version on it is V1.4. The 980 Pro drive is V1.3C. Again going by these videos. So I am to make sure the motherboard can make use of the speeds it has to support the 1.3c and 1.4 versions.

Anyone got any clues on this as I can't seem to find any info on this on the Asus website or manual.

Never seen it presented that way, x570 supports gen 4.0 which is what i think they are calling v1.4
See I never seen it like that either but upon looking various sources it does seem to be a common thing however I don't see any info on it on the manufacturer website of several motherboards never mind mine. Supposedly the 1.3 and 1.3c is pci gen4 also so I am super confused.

Ok cut from the wiki page "Version changes for NVMe, e.g., 1.3 to 1.4, are incorporated within the storage media, and do not affect PCIe-compatible components such as motherboards and CPUs."
