Graphics look a bit dated but the gameplay sounds interesting. I'm getting bored of MMORPG's at the minute but a good historically orientated one might be a breath of fresh air to the genre. Although the pay system looks aberrant.

Came across this the other day because they crucified a player in-game for breaking rules (ganking new players repeatedly). It was effectively a ban, except his character stayed in game nailed to a cross half naked for seven days, where everyone could point and laugh.

Reading that got me interested, but then I saw what the game looked like. Gameplay over graphics is all very well, but come on, make an effort!
