Room gets dusty fast. Is it just me?

Stupid thing a vacuum, even with the best filtering system it still blow dust back into the room.

I have a Beam built in vacuum system:o, bought of the bay for £5 complete with all the fittings,& had never been used, the main unit lives in the shed.

This is true :(

It just exhausts junk back into the air. Unless I rig a hose from the exhaust and hang it outside window :o

Also I thought Id vacuum the laptop keyboard so clean it...and about 12 keys got sucked up

Forgot the vacuum was on max-power setting..doh. Had to open the container and fish em all out. Im sorry Dell it ownt happen again *Pats XPS*

New place isn't so bad, but the old tenement house i use to live in was terrible, and it wasn't the fine dust it was the big clumpy almost hair like dust we use to get, like what you get in a hoover, and before anyone says a use to hoover twice a week. I'm sure a yeti had lived there before.

just so you know, the inside of your nose has lots of green snot, this is your body trying to reduce the dust/dirt going into your nose.

next time you pick your nose i suggest that you should wipe it onto the intakes of your case rather than eating it.

couple of months you might have a great filter setup?

I find having cases with big fan intakes (I had a pair with 2x 250mm on each) seem to pull a lot of dust into the room, clogging up the case needing regular cleaning and also making the room much dustier much quicker than the rest of the house. Tho it still builds up using a laptop instead for most of my everyday useage has massive reduced how quickly the dust builds up in the room.
