rooney's red card incident (video clip)

i think that what ronaldo did - ie run over to the official and remonstrate was worth a yellow. arent they trying to cut that out?

Yep I thought myself that FIFA had said that was supposed to be a yellow card offence (like diving was supposed to be) in this world cup.

carvegio, reading the rest of your comments I can only come to the conclusion your one incompetent bloke, shame we are not allowed to swear on this board or I would tell you exactly what I think of you.

I see on the newsb4 the incident ronaldo did a figo and gave rooney a bit of a head butt to the back of the head nothing major just same as figo! This led to that tackle by rooney and the sending off. I can imagine there being some fights going on at Man UTD when they are back

Apparently Rooney has already said he won't play in the same side as Ronaldo.

Personally I hope the first time they go training Rooney breaks his legs.

I dont blame him at all, hopefully Fergie will have the balls to say to Ronaldo...**** off your no longer needed.

Dont know about breaking his legs but i would love to see Rooney smack him one right on the gob for good measure tbh.

I read some where that Ronaldo told Roony just before the game started that he was going to get him sent off

A tv clip shows him whispering in Roonys ear and then gently head butting him

Roony looks bewildered

Ronaldo did the same thing, he played the game... Didn't do anything illegal so stop picking on him

OK either you're his mother or you have his posters all over your bedroom wall and a shrine dedicated to him.

My brother is a die hard Man United fan who loves Ronaldo. Even he was texting me yesterday saying how much Ronaldo was disgusting him and how he can't see him playing for Man United again with Rooney because of his behaviour yesterday.

I would really hope Rooney lays one on him in training if Ronaldo has the balls to go back. To be honest, I don't think he does. I'm a Ronaldo fan but his attitude and behaviour yesterday really brought him down in my estimations...

Before kick-off Ronaldo went up to Rooney, gave him what seemed to be some snide comment, then butted him on the back of the head.
There was defiantely a conspiracy to get Rooney sent off imo, with Ronaldo at the forefront of it.

Had to love Alan Shearer's comment after the game "I wouldn't be surprised if Rooney doesn't give Ronaldo a right hander when they get back on the training ground" :D
Not that I condone violence.......oh well, maybe just this once.

I just hope that Ronaldo gets what's coming to him at every English ground this coming season.

Here's to the French giving the cheating Portugeuse a football lesson on Weds.
Can't wait to see Ronaldo crying his eyes out again.

Did you not see Ronaldo acting like a baby when he got substituted?

Or do you have a crush on him too so you mistook it for passion...

No i don't watch Ronaldo that much but what iv seen of him hes a very good player, and seems to have a lot more talent than Rooney.

A slight overreaction there.
Nope.

He sold out a fellow clubman. He's the lowest of the low. He deserves nothing but a good kicking.

That could be applied to many, England players included.

Yeah ok.

Then its clear you don't watch Ronaldo that much :p

Yes he is a very good player who is only going to get better. But he has no more talent than Wayne Rooney. The problem Ronaldo has is that he is a cry baby and his attitude stinks. Rooney is a born winner. He will chase every ball even if to anyone else it is a lost cause. Just watch him play. Ronaldo would not do the same...
