We are extremely impressed with those cards. Got one in test at the moment and its happily running at 860MHz core and 2200Mhz memory.

Plus its low profile with brackets supplied, required no external power and is silent, for the money its fantastic value for money and it will actually play games.

They are up their with the 5*** cards audio wise with 7.1 channel audio with 192 kHz / 24-bit output with Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, AC-3, DTS.

Will do some research but it could be just the ticket for a htpc build, I am currently using some m-audio kit to get sound out of the htpc so this could kill two birds with one stone. Clearly research is needed first as £65 still sounds like its a fair bit high.

Yes new 480 incoming, but its a beast, complete custom job so won't be cheap but it could be like one of the most overclockable and fastest 480's to hit the market.

The MSI Lightning? It's going to be expensive and in short supply, possibly wont clock much better than a reference card either, much like the 5870 lightning was.... Not to mention the 460 HAWK which promises 1ghz cores but seems to cap out at around 850, which, don't get me wrong, isn't bad but its not anything special over a stock reference design.

Nvidia had issues with their hd audio drivers last i read, this may have been rectified though, anyone use hd audio on an nvidia card? Also you can get a 5570 the same or less and its even quicker in gaming than the 430.
