Came home to find my router flashing orange lastnight and having problems getting it back to normal.
My ISP is Sky and I use a Belkin N600 with the hacked settings, but it seemed to reset itself. The SSID and all the other settings were back to factory.

I have managed to get most of the settings restored and can connect to the internet wired, and the wifi seems to be working, but when I disconnect the ethernet cable the wifi doesn't work.

If I then re-connect the cable I can get access again. it also seems to be running a bit volatile, second or third tabs dont seem to load properly either.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Yeah, just tried that now.
Router flashed orange and changed to OK as soon as I put the ethernet cable back in.
Also seems that the net only works 100% if the router settings page is open.

Try flashing the latest firmware? Or if nothing newer is out, flash the current latest firmware version over it again.

urgh. Belkin :p

How about getting the latest firmware and flashing over the top?

edit - beaten like a ginger stepchild

Everyone here seems to recommend the Asus ones but they're super expensive (to me anyway) anything around the £50 mark with decent reviews should do.
