Hello,

I have a cheap ADSL Belkin cost me £40 from a local shop. Not sure on the model just says BelkinG Router.

For the most part it works fine, good wireless range, works with PS3 and 360 no problems.

Its syncing at 7000Kbps but the max speed test i can achive is no more than 2.0Mbs, so i am loosing 5Mb somewhere.

I am in support talks with ADSL24 they are looking there end.

I just wanna make sure its not the router holding me back ??

Could the router be some how holding my speeds back ?

Thanks Ben :)

Probably, I had a load of problems with Belkin stuff, and I used to work at purple shirt brigade and I saw a hell of a lot of them coming back!

Are you doing the speedtests hardwired or connect via wireless?

If wireless then the speed of wireless connection will dictate the speed.

Both wireless and wired :)

Its a wireless G router so it should be fast enough for 7Mb right ?
