Looking forward to this, I will be going on the Sunday.

Anyone else planning on going and doing any photography this year?

I'll be there for five of the six days weather permitting (bobble hat on!)

Some dampness in the air would be welcome though as it'll allow some interesting vapour shots which haven't been possible in recent years.

Gloucestershire.

Fairford is a name place and RAF Fairford is a USAF base.

RAF Fairford is about 5 miles north of Swindon.

Yep I'm going on the saturday with my family (well parents).

Hoping to get a fair few pictures, although how good they will be is another matter...

meant to be there, and on site for around 2 weeks again this year - but can't get the time off. been down a few times and work on transport department, and for comms for a while too. all good fun. hanger party

Yep, going sunday with my mums boyfriend and a few of his photographer friends. Of course i will be taking my camera along - get some more use out of my 70-300mm.

I'm finding it incredibly tempting to aquire a 10-20 for the static park, 18mm just aint wide enough.

I also need more practice shooting light gray aircraft against dull skys, for some reson my camera struggles to focus on them

I'm going to be a guard for some of the aircraft. That means I'll see the arrivals and rehearsals the day before too. Can't wait!

Forecast for saturday is a small amount of rain in the morning, clearing up in the afternoon, so not too bad.

Still time for it to clear up even more.

Or get worse...
