If I sent an item 1st class recorded delivery on the 15th of Sept and the buyer still hasn't recieved it yet can I make a claim or is it still early days yet?

If I can make a claim do you think it would be successful? The item in question was £490.

Thanks folks.

Was it only recorded delivery you sent that by? As that insures only up to £32.

If you used special delivery (next day delivery), then you would be insured up to £500. (Or £1000 / £2500 for a bit extra!)

Thanks for the reply's so far. I pretty much new it was bad news. Basically what happened was this. I asked my bro too send it Special Delivery as I was in work that week and unable too post. So good enough he went and posted it for me. However in his infinate wisdow he sent it 1st class recorded despite being told too send it Special Delivery. Gutted.

Brothers, who'd have them.
