RR11 M4(J13)/A34 Chieveley Services Convoy

Bit of a continuation from what was posted in the the main rolling road day thread the other day, I thought I would start this thread so that we can keep all the details here so people can find them easily, and also for anyone who missed us mentioning about convoying from here!

Meeting Place: Chieveley Services M4(J13)/A34
Time: 7.30am

If we aim to leave by 7.40 this should mean that we will arrive at the RR around 8.40-8.45 as it is around an hours drive from the services to Eurospec.

The route which i propose we take is below, as it should be easy to follow.

Could you please post if you are going to be convoying down, so I know who to expect. If you have any questions for think something needs changing etc then please let me know!

Is the A4 a 30 limit until you are out of Thatcham? Can't remember what it is down there

And that route would be ok if people get there for 7.30, as would definately have enough time to get there then

Assuming satnav says the same as google

The one i suggested originally is the one i got in the op isn't it? At least i think it is as it was what google maps had as the first route listed

And remember, we are coming off at Reading, this doesn't mean drive to Windsor for the hell of it

Yes it's 30/40 through Newbury and Thatcham, and also Woolhampton. NSL everywhere else and should be quiet at that time of day. Probably easiest for people to stick to your original route to be honest.

Yeah is easier to follow and means people wont get lost

Ok no problem!

If no one else wants to convoy then we won't be meeting at the Chieveley services but further up the A34 instead
