RS Owners Day @ Castle Coombe

Went to Castle Coombe today for RS owners day.

Glorious weather, turnout was a lot smaller than usual thought it might of been because of really bad weather we've had recently and people were worried it might be a washout :confused:

I was going to pop along, but was busy with the car. My mate went in his modded S14a and had some tracktime. To quote 'I'm going to harass some cossies'

Think i saw him does he have black alloys and the fronts are a different design to the rears?

It was a blue s14a and he was hanging the tail out nicely

There were 2 "seriously" juick evo's there.

Both originally FQ320's although they were now over 500bhp

It is blue and he does like to hang the arse out, he doesn't normally have black alloys though. He might have changed them for the track.

It had an orange sticker on drivers side front wing near the bumper if that helps identify it?

If you mean the J/P plate, that's RS 3000.

it Could be a genuine apache, but they weren't badged as an RS

Think so. ( it looks similar to the V8 my mate had in his old SD1. )

Edit, I think it is.

This is the Rover V8 as fitted to a TVR Griffith.

Looks close enough to me!

i'm sure that's definitely the Rover plenum chamber in the middle.
