The only thing that seems reasonably likely, is 5/6nm GPUs in 2022. We can be reasonably sure about this because reports regarding TSMC from about a year ago stated 5nm EUV products are scheduled for 2021/2022, for AMD and Nvidia.

Everything else is just (very) rough guesses.

No doubt, lots of people will be banging on about MCM GPUs supposedly ready for 2022 too, when foundries can barely produce enough GPU dies for mid end graphics cards this year.

NVIDIA fans have been mocking TSMC all this time and how it is inferior to Samsung and anyone (like AMD) who uses TSMC is a retard because they have to fight for capacity with Apple.
Yet now NVIDIA are set to use them as well?

Literally not seen one post anywhere regarding this (at least anyone with half a braincell).

im sorry what? I have t literally seen a single person say any of that. What did you smoke last night?

Anyone who can Google would know that AMD's GPUs have a 30% higher transitor density advantage because TSMC's is so much better than Samsung 8nm

Maybe they should release the 30 series properly first rather than release a 30 super or even 40 series! There are people still waiting or a 30 series a year on, for them the 30 series has not yet been released.

This is just the Nvidia routine with new card releases What really matters are they going make sure there are new cards to buy for the average gamer who has not got a fat wallet.

The leaks suggest that the new Intel Arc won't be as powerful as a 3070, so Amd and Nvidia are likely to let Intel take the low end of the market (where volume is high but profits are lower) and continue to charge high prices at the top end. The supers make no sense other than for nvidia to sell off remaining 8nm nodes at higher mrsp before they move to 5nm

They can't meet demand for the 3000 series hey let's do a super..
Yeah so they can charge more, they aren't doing it for customers

bring back the RTX 3080 @£650 or just stop making them.... Perhaps its time for Nvidia fans to smell the roses.

Personally I think RDNA3 is sounding more interesting at this point.

Title of this thread should be "Back orders finally filled in 2022".

The current state of the GPU market is appalling and after all this time of shortages a lot of the blame needs to go directly to NVidia and AMD.

In World War 2 production of Tanks, Planes and Ships were ramped up much faster than the supply of GPUs is happening now.

I'd consider PPE, ventilators, etc. far more important than GPUs.

That is a weak argument, I don't think a RTX 3090 and a face mask have much in common.

Quality componants, circuit boards, materials to make said and logistics do. I wouldn't be surprised to find some face masks do also share some raw materials. Packaging alone is a good example.
