So a quick check of 1660Ti prices will tell you what the market will be looking at once any enforced special deals for launch evaporate.

Over 400 but less than 500 :)

Not sure thats a good indicator.

A. I dont think 1660's are being produced (or at least not in any number) anymore so stock will obviously be few and far between
B. The 1660's can mine fairly decently.
C. 1660's are sitting on shelves for that money now.

If there is loads of 3050 stock and its rubbish at mining, it wont command, or at least hold on to, overinflated prices.

A. I buy 1660 regular, more or less weekly, 1660 super is much rarer and 1660Ti is once in a blue moon. The 1660 is still been produced by board partners for sure, though at silly pricing but we still sell a few hundred per month and get weekly deliveries from suppliers. Pre pandemic we were buying these in for around £150 exc. vat whereas now they cost us nearly £300 exc. vat, so doubled in price and that is considered a deal price for volume (500+) as other brands tend to be around £320 exc. VAT. A big part of that increase is due to shipping cost pretty much tripling.

Palit GeForce GTX 1660 StormX 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card @ £359.99 inc VAT

NE51660018J9-165F, Core Clock: 1530MHz, Boost Clock: 1785MHz, Memory: 6144MB 8000MHz GDDR5, Stream Processors: 1408, VR Ready, PhysX/CUDA Enabled, 2 Years Warranty.

Only £359.99 inc VAT.

B. No idea but probably explains some of the sales.

C. Moderate sales for us, no idea about elsewhere and as we get weekly deliveries the volume SKU such as Palit above I can normally maintain in stock.

Basically half the performance of a 3060ti that sells at £369 for the FE.... Expecting very few FE drops this year then if they want to sell that 3050. 2022 the year that stagnated the low end gpu market.. Can't wait for the 40 series pricing and performance... 3050 to me is only worth £175 in a normal market and for a flashy version £200 max.

why anyone would buy this at double the price, completely absurd price wise, if shipping prices have trippled, why dont all imported trade guys double in price? i dont buy it. (not saying you are lying, but someone in the chain is taking advantage, likely the reseller or whatever).

Anyone know what time are the 3050's going to avilable on OCUK?

Would it be possible to order 2 different models? My nephew needs whatever is the cheapest gpu and I need a half-length for my ITX build (its been 12 months without a gpu - it had a GT 710 when I built it). I might not buy yet, becuase ideally I wanted something with less power/performance, and possibly single slot.

Lol. Why is there Ram in that section?

It is a trick I've discovered with the website to get it to get products to upload instantly which have never been live on the site previously, worked superbly well on the 6500 XT launch. As DDR5 is another thing people are going crazy for it makes sense to plonk it in there especially as we have stock.
