Anyone been to ruda in cornwall?to try and find out more about it?
Thinking about going there on holiday this summer.
We will be booking through parkdean holidays. And be going by car.
What is it like there? Is there plenty to do for a family with two teenage boys?
Is there other attractions nearby?

Been to newquay several times so this year the kids want to try some where else. Ruda is not a place we have been before thats is why i am asking on here
about it?

thx.

Well I come from Cornwall and never heard of it :o A quick googly spy suggests it's in North Devon not Cornwall...

Apart from that I can't really comment on Ruda but if all you've seen of Cornwall is Newquay then you are missing out big time!

I was there this summer, I would say teenagers would be bored out of their minds unless they surf or something. There are a couple of decent pubs/restaurants in croyde and the beach is nice, but there is precious little to actually do apart from that. If you have some more specific questions I can help you out.

Croyde's good for surfing, the town itself really does have naff all to do for teenagers as mentioned previously. There's a bowling alley on the road to it, just outside of barnstaple town centre (have fun getting through that :p), other than that, i really couldn't think what else they could do.
