Hi all,

As an avid supporter of Rugby League, I wonder if anyone else visiting these forums supports either a Super League team or championship team?

Whats your predicitons for 2010?

Mighty Rhino's to win it again, Saint's in final... again. Will come down to last game for the title.

Living in Leeds for a bit I can see myself getting more involved in Rugby league. Still the girl's version though :p

I'm from the proper side of Hull.

Grimsby? Didnt know they had a team............. ;)

The mighty Wire (that's the Wolves to all you newbies!) will dominate this year, looking at our squad it's great...................

Hold on, i've said that every year for the past 30yrs!:D

Was good reading Andrew Johns biography, he talked about when he came over to play, said Lee Briers was giving a talk to the team before the Leeds match, giving it the 'Right lads, try your best, no one expects anything more, we've got this far so it wont be bad if we lose' to which Joey said '**** that, lets get out there and smash them off the park'. Hopefully his inclusion in the coaching squad alongside Smith will bring a change in mentality to our squad and bring in a 'winning' mentality rather than a 'competing' one.

Wigan season ticket holder.

We're getting all sorts of promising signs from the new management, but the last time things were sounding this positive in pre-season was when we had Ian Nillward as coach and look what happened then!

Just hoping for a lot more consistency this year tbh

Anything that improves the safety of the players has to be commended, so long as the referees are consistant, with the new rules.

I'm not sure about stopping you from driving a player back/into touch if they are still moving. That really pumps up the crowd and rewards good defence. I hope we're not going back to the 'tick and pass' stuff from 5/6 years ago with 36-32 score lines.

Yes, Hull Kingston Rovers fan, ex season ticket holder now but attend most away games, am looking forwards to the new season!

RL comes early in Hull though with the Richard Horne Testimonial tomorrow afternoon, come on you Robins!

Not sure what the new lads are like and lost a couple of experienced players over the break so I am not sure how we will do this season. Probably say Leeds to win it again. If we beat them once this season I'll be happy.
