Rumoured GTX590 in February

The pic shows dual 8 pin power connectors unless I'm mistaken, 375W
And given the superb cooling system in the 580 hopefully this might be the first top end dual GPU part to not sound like a jet engine under load.

My Sapphire 5970 4GB Toxics don't sound like a jet engine under load so the first too position is taken already :D

He must be a shareholder ;)

He does have a point though, if you destroy the competition in the market you can charge what you want for your products, within reason. The current pricing difference between the 580GTX and 6970 is proof already of that.

My bet is this card will have a launch price of at least £600-650 with it lowering after a month or so to around £575ish

lol stulid where are nvidia dominating the market. From what i remember ocuk said there was more 69xx cards sold in the first day than they had sold 5 series. The 6950 is faster than the 560 from what i see in the majority of reviews. The 6970 is on par with the gtx570 and cheaper ati win in my opinion as the 6970 has more memory. The 5770 is better than nv's offering in that area. The 6870 is faster than the gtx460 by a good margin and when the price drops come in should be a much better buy. The gtx580 from what i see is nv's only win as its the single fastest gpu on the planet.

Amd have better dual gpu scaling so the 6990 should at least be on par with nv's offering.

In todays market there is no clear winner as all cards have there selling points.

Sorry for feeding the troll but i have had a few drinks and could not help myself.

Looking forward to seeing what this card can do and then let the battle commence with the 6990 :D.

As for Stulid, stick him on ignore as he provides nothing of use in the Graphic card section of this forum. This is not the first post I've seen this year from this member talking such absolute garbage whilst promoting Nvidia. Like Nvidia cares at all about you Stulid?. I suppose, you must be trying to boost sales for the company dominating  :p.

I remember when the 295 was around, never heard a peep back then about single gpu this and that lol. Crossfire and sli are king, I loved my last crossfire setup and will get another 470 soon when money Permits :) I'd love a 6990 or nvidias vapourware 590 but funds alas do not permit :(

I agree with the 3 monitors, 1 card thing.

I dont know why they havent bothered with that. If people are looking for a eyefinity/surround set-up, when considering their graphics card im pretty sure AMD would be at the top, simply for that reason.

I'll be very suprised if its under £600. It should support 3 monitors in surround out the box.

The actual power configuration and clock speeds I believe is being left to the AIBs.
