i have 2 sapphire HD5770s, just linked them up to my HD plasma screen (duel displays) so i can have movies playin on the 50" and normal internet etc on the normal 22" monitor...

just wondering a few things...

will it be running in HD on the plasma going throuhg HDMI or do i need to adjust something?

also my TV is a 100hz tv, but i think the cards only running at 60hz, can this be changed?

cheers

If the plasma is running in either 1280x720 (720p) or 1920x1080(1080p), yes then its running in HD.

Your TV may claim to be 100hz although it may just be a standard 50hz Plasma with software/technology to give the illusion that it is 100hz.
Mine States that it runs at 600hz...but only runs at 60/75 when hooked up to my PC.

And it doesn't matter what HZ its running i either way as it won't make a difference.
But if you want to change anything, just have a look around in CCC and the options should be in displays.

It depends on the TV and how it behaves with different inputs. Sometimes a 'PC' input won't be able to display the highest res. Stating the TV model would help you get a precise answer. In short if your TV is displaying 1920x1080 by whatever means then all is good. :)

What you have to realise with a plasma is that the 100hz is purely to stop the flicker they used to suffer at 50hz. You will be able to run at 1920x1080 as I do on mine through HDMI, any resolution you use will run at 60hz (60fps), but should look silky smooth. It would be easier to say what else to expect if you said what tv you have, and what native resolution it has though. The chances are you won't be able to run higher than 1360x768 through a pc port though, even if you have a 1080p tv, you need to use HDMI to get 1920x1080 resolution.
