Running the loop over a year but now air in the system?

It's perfectly normal for some fluid to evaporate out of the system over time - I've lost maybe 1cm over 18 months in my hard tube system.

What is the return tube like? If the top tube just opens into the main reservoir, air is probably getting mixed into the intake of the pump.

I expect it just needs topping up so no air is caught in the reservoir intake. Maybe keep an eye on levels for a while after that.

Yeah I filled it up with the top cap off so air could get out and seems ok now :) But will check it a bit more regularly.

As said above, evaporation over time.

From the video it looked like your res had got low enough for air bubbles to start getting recycled back into the loop by the pump vortex.

Just needed topping up.

Annoying me now , I can see a bubble on my front rad connection and won't budge. Running my res cap off today to see if that helps.
