Ryder Cup 2012

Westwood is abysmal when it comes to the big events, his putting is just so bad and if he hasn't sorted it by now, he never will. Hopefully they can figure it out this morning so that Donald is always putting. :o

Don't know what's up with our team we look like a bunch cowboys aside from Colsaerts whose putting has been excellent.

Mickelson is a man possessed but even the US rookies have played as if they know the course like the back of their hand, have USA sneaked some extra practice or something?

Poulter Passion - thats what is needed. 5 Birdies to finish was superb.

Too many passengers for Europe so far. Westwood, Lawrie, Kaymer, Hanson, Molinari etc - Simply not good enough.

We need to change to 4 picks like the yanks so that we can pick players in form (a la Snedeker etc)

Would LOVE to see a fight back and we have top loaded the draw (Mcilroy against Bradley should be good).

American "rookies" have been superb so far.

I fear that the Yanks only need 4.5 points and it could all be over after about 7 matches if the "big" european players don't show up

I cannot see us mounting any sort of comeback, Colsaerts and Poulter have carried our team so far and Tiger has been our third best player. :p

Some of the golf has been absolutely amazing, the course is out of this world, but I think the crowd have been an embarrassment. I know it's the American thing, but it's ridiculous and has ruined my enjoyment. Stupid shouting and cheering at bad shots. It's like I'm watching Happy Gilmore at times.

I know there has been a lot of talk about the US fans moving the ball when the US team hit it into the rough but after just watching bubba hammer his first tee shot way into the rough, I can't believe it only ended up less than a yard in it to allow him an easy shot to the green.

How is that fair?

I don't know about the fans cheating but this whole course is a bit of a joke, Tiger has been regularly missing the fairways by a wide margin and still manages to get on the green for his par.

It's fairly boring without any rough just becomes a putting contest.

I think Davis Love made the wrong decision to put his best players against our best players. There was always the chance we would stop their best! They only needed 4 points, stick your best against our worst and take the 4 at the end.

There is now every chance are worst (not that they're bad) could come up trumps against the under performers on the USA teams. We've managed to take the big ones so there is every chance we could get lucky here.
