Been a while since I've had the rig and looking to change out the mobo and processor.
Currently on MSI H67ma e35 with an i7 2600k.

Looking to switch up to a Ryzen 2600X and pair it with a forward thinking mobo.
Currently looking at:
1. Gigabyte X470 Aorus (+/- Wifi)
2. Asus Prime X470 Pro
3. Asis ROG Strix X470-F Gaming
4. MSI X470 Gaming Plus / Pro Carbon.

I am very out of touch though and would love some input as to whether X470 is worth going for, or whether it's worth looking at b450's?
Is wifi on the mobo really worth it?

I will eventually upgrade my RAM to 3200 b die but baby steps for now.

Bare in mind x370 is DDR4 not DDR3 which you currently use !

WiFi is great if you need it but some boards use slower standards. Aorus 7 has fastest available intel BT PCB and others are slower or inbuilt

What resolution you gaming at and with what card ?

Valid point, I guess I'd be upgrading the ram as well then!
I'm on a amd r9 series card atm 16x9
Better to get a WiFi card then if I do use WiFi rather than ethernet? Currently using a USB dongle...

is your 2700k overclocked ? and is it being pushed to 100% load when gaming as it's still a cracking processor ! only now i7 3*** are finally being listed as recommended CPU for 1080p 60hz high setting gaming along with gtx 1060/rx580

Ethernet is always faster and stable - long as router has Gigabit Ethernet port
