in my most recent builds i had put the ryzen 7 3700x and wait for the ryzen 7 5000 series processor, but it looks to be a £150ish hike from £280 to £430. However the 5 5600x is only £290... would it be worth buying the 5600X over the 3700X for an extra tenner? or do I just pay the extra for the 5800X? are they going ot be bringing out any lesser price point processors for the Ryzen 7?

Whats the purpose of the build? if raw gaming the 5600XT should win but I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that even 6 cores are starting to lose out in some games compared to 8

Not sure this review is getting past the gpu bottleneck. Also 5800x tending to fall behind the other chips on 1% lows? Any one got an idea why?

EDIT: It actually comes back in a few. Think I'll be going 5800x. 5600x looks amazing but I think I want 16 threads minimum for longevity and I can't see myself using all 24 threads.

If those benchmarks are true I might stick to my 10700K or get a 10850K and just sell of my X570 board
