Hi all,

looking at a 2600x to build a lightroom pc, B450 ATX board seems most cost effective and was wondering what people would recommend. Not going to be overclocked, using a radeon pro graphics card, 16gb Ram and would want to go for two drives. First one for OS and LR cache (256GB) , so as fast as possible and then a working drive of about 512gb again as fast as possible. Don;t want anything spinning as files will be offloaded to the NAS and archived.

Minimum cables would be good.

Have to say it's a while since i looked at pc's and i'm confused by all the ssd/m2/nvram options there now seems to be.

Budget about £600 to £800 for CPU/MBoard/16GB Ram/Boot disk/scratch disk.

thanks all.

OC actually have a bundle that fits your requirements, just need to add the larger drive, and should still be well under your budget. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/amd-...ree-240gb-ssd-online-only-bu-01f-am.html#t=a1

They also have a 2700x bundle that would be within your upper budget too https://www.overclockers.co.uk/amd-...ree-480gb-ssd-online-only-bu-01g-am.html#t=a1

Thanks for replying, that MB only has a single M2 option, looking for as fast as can go for two ssd/large memory sources.

Also apologies for my ignorance but why the x370 against a b450?

The x370 is purely because its in the bundle :) Just thought I would highlight them in case it fit your needs. The b450 is also a good choice, but not in the bundles, no other reasons.
