Sales are rubbish.

Yeah lol most of the DSG Group online stores are down or open by ticket only - I had to wait 2 mins to get onto *****t earlier!

Not that I want to buy anything, just curious lol

I don't think i've ever bought something in a high street sale, it's always just rubbish and you have to fight with 5 million hyperactive housewives to get it.

You have to hand it to stores though, they really know how to take full advantage of some people.

Just came back from the shops and nothing decent was on sale.

that popular electronics shop had sale signs everywhere, went it and it was mostly TV's on sale.

Sales are great! I went to House of Fraiser today to return some clothes that were bought for me for Xmas so that I could get the next size down. Due to sales being on a couple of the items were reduced which meant that I was given a gift card for £125.

Sales... That time of year when everyone goes mental for those goods because they are discounted by 10%, even though they walked past them and went "meh" for the entire year before... Ha!

Never found anything decent in a sale. It's all old tat that people didn't want to begin with.

This is the truth. Hell, if I really wanted I could buy stuff online and still likely beat the 'sale' prices.

Today in York, it was pretty quiet, same on the outskirts at Monks Cross, some stores closed, Next, Marks and Sparks, closed, went into Asda, was pretty quiet, went to Leeds, and Asda 24/7 was closed there too.
