Salman Rushdie to divorce

Salman Rushdie, the man who was recently knighted for contributions to literacy, is divorcing his wife Padma Lakshm at her requesti. It's the fourth time he's been married (!). I don't know if it's related to the Muslim anger and her fear of being targeted.
