This looks a really nice panel and were trying to get Samsung to give us special pricing so we can sell it for even less than the DELL 2407WFP. What do you guys think?

Surprised how expensive this one come in at, uses Samsungs TN panel. Vertical viewing angles are bad on it.

Can buy Samsungs S-PVA based Dell A04 for similar money glad I made the right choice ;)

Aye for a TN Panel I would have expected around £350 - £400 maximum, I'm still using a VP191b from 2005 & to be honest I dont think I could ever switch to a TN Panel with less viewing angle in comparison.

Edit: Just to add the 3000:1 Contrast ratio is very impressive.

Hi there

So if we can get the price down to circa £330 +VAT which is just under £400 delivered will make it better then? I shall speak with Samsung and inform them the price needs to improve and see what we can do. :)

I am confident if we can get it £100 cheaper than the DELL it will then sell, be ideal for gamers. :)

I see in Europe it goes for circa €550-€600 euros which is just under £400. I can't find anywhere else in the UK with it though.

It definitely needs to be significantly cheaper than the Dell. I take it there are no features like aspect scaling or picture in picture? £100 more doesn't seem that much for the better panel, inputs and features you get with the Dell.

I'll be interested to see what you can come up with though.

Agree if priced at under £400 would be great for Gamers with a bonus of having full HD capability which the 20"-22" Sceens dont give you.

3000:1 is based on dynamic contast ratio though, without i believe it is 1000:1. Still, if it is near that in pratice than that's pretty decent :)

I bought my dell 04 for just under 400inc new (lucky), so for someone who missed the chance this monitor should be the best choice if the price goes that low :)

In my opinion it looks better than the Dell 24" as well, probally sound like a women stereotypically speaking but I'm quite fussy about how things look on the exterior. (no offense to any women readers.)

Interested in the 245T (it has the MPA technology, i.e. Samsungs version of BFI), Iam surprised the 245B is available for pre-order already.
