samsung 226BW vs LG 226WTQ

both appear to be the exact same monitor for different prices. can anyone tell me what the actual differences are?

It really does just come down to differences in bezel and price. Sure they have differing solutions for dynamic contrast and suchlike, but the end result is pretty much identical. If it wouldn't bother you to have the understated silver bezel of the LG, then it makes for the logical choice.
