Moaned like hell at Samsung regarding this, I am doing my best to persuade them to get the price on par with the DELL. Stupid really becayse I belive this Samsung and the new DELL share the same panel and backlight.

In the meantime go with the DELL, the old one was amazing and this new model is just awsome. We have out stock now and one running and all is looking great.

You'll need a colorimeter to fix the badly aligned screen and the mpa function doesnt have any benefit... iiyama samsung 24 TN/dell-hc look better value.

After all the Dell HC ghosting talk, id be content to go with the Sammy 245T but not when its £600+

£450-500 at least doesnt chop your wallet into 1000 pieces.

I'd agree with those sentiments HighlandeR - it is too expensive (£622.74), so it'll be interesting when 'trusted' reviews start to appear whether its worth the extra.

As it stands at that price & as an alternative, the NEC2690 (£728.49) looks very tempting in 'This Week Only Deal' - apparently its a very good screen (IPS i think).
