Need some advice on TVs that i know little about.
I'm not that clued up on the latest technologies and was about to buy the Pioneer PDP-427XD-TS10 for £1599 with 5 year warranty. My cousin just warned me off that particular one and suggested a Samsung 40" LCD-TV LE40F71B for approx same price as it is 1080p HD ready.
Which one to go for and why or should i consider anything else?
(Budget £1600 max)

If you have a viewing distance greater than 8 feet then the benefit over a 40" LCD / Plasma will be huge.
