1080p, no thanks. If the height of 15" is the minus the stand, that's just ridiculous.

This is such an obscure res, I don't know how that's going to work in games. 21:9 has issues as it is.

It really isn't that obscure, since it's an identical resolution to having 2* 1920x1080 monitors side by side, which people have been doing for many, many years.

I have a 34" 348q at the moment, but might grab one of these for a little bit of fun :)

Reminds me of the Angel of the North as I drive past it on the A1. Probably weighs just as much. Good luck with wall mounting that thing.

I've got an X34 and suddenly it seems wholly inadequate...

Is similar to having 2 monitors together.... You do forgot eyefinity, etc yes?
And while I will agree it if was 4K or 3840x1440 could have been better, is impressive at it is.

Yes, but I've been at 1440p for about 5-6 years now. Can't go back, impossible.

Is there a reliable way to figure out this monitor's dimensions? I feel like I may missed some obvious info and this might seem like a daft question...

They're given as 15.02 x 47.36 x 20.68 in, with the height being the only questionable one there as it doesn't indicate if it includes the stand or not, but 15" will be the depth, so the height I would suspect is 20.68" with stand.

Doesn't seem overly crazy to be honest, since my PG348Q when it was on its stand is only 20" tall.

The PG348Q is about 14.5" tall for the screen only, including the bezels, and that's 3440x1440, so to see something similar for a 1080 isn't that bad.

Let these be a sale for a few months, Samsung tend to drop pricing after they're a poor seller.

Also I *think* they stated a Gsync one is coming, but I'm not 100%.
