you can see here that the ivy with kepler msi laptops are out now so the samsung ones shouldn't be too far away

also, I'd wait for ivy paired with kepler laptops, as they should draw less power, as they'll be using a smaller manufacturing process

I worry the ivy + kepler will work its way out of my price range, also the UK Samsung 700G wont have the kepler to my understanding?
Think I will to wait a few more days/weeks an make my mind up before the 7th May so I don't miss out on the tax back.

It's not kepler, it's fermi.

AMD are targeting the end of the month for the mobile 7 series.

Just checked and NP700G7C-S01UK is showing on the VAT back list.

Spec shown on Samsunglaptop also includes the 3D glasses. Price seems to be inline with the current model (before recent price drops).

If the above holds true and the release is in time, looks like I'll get the new version.

Update: Due to the expected release date of the new version I've opted for the current one. Just could not justify to myself the extra cost for the performance gains.
