Hi Folks,

I have 3 PCIe SSD slots on my laptop, two x4 and one x2.

I have put the 2 500GB 960's in the two x4 slots and set to RAID 0, yet my performance matches that of a single 960, no massive increase in performance (slightly faster write speeds).

I have previously RAID SATA SSD's and seen tremendous increases in performance.

What gives? Can I get better performance than this:

So if I remove the 256GB toshiba SSD would that potentially offer more bandwidth to the raided samsungs?

Why are you worrying? It won't make any real word difference. You're just chasing numbers.

I can't imagine even RAID0 would really make any difference even if you weren't bottlenecked.
