I have a js8500 and it's had about four screens and insurance paid out as reckoned it won't get any where near as perfect as I'm imagining.
I have lessened some edge bleed clouds from taking the back off and loosened the internal bezel / frame. I will be looking into taking the full LCD out and finding any gaps and block. (If anyone has successfully done this and has pictures i'd appreciate the help lol I've seen a few forums that had varying success with electrical tape)
Sorry I digress I love the js8500 , the colours are lush and compared to a lot of other TVs still holds its own .
Since the second from last repair I have had a outline box about 2 inches away from the bezel frame and is around the whole TV screen. I turn Back/L almost off and different brightness and contrast and it fades abit. Since I loosened the internal frame, it shows up on different colours now.
So I'm wondering if this is retention or banding or if its the LEDs that need some blocking.
