Samsung E350 Phone Issue

My Sister has one of these phones, but was never told that if she does not use the T-Mobile Sim card, the phones features would never be fully activated. My Sis does not have the T-Mobile Sim card as her friend had a phone, but didn't have a sim card. My Sister does not want to change her number due to personal & business reasons.

Is there any way to get all the phones features enabled without putting in a new t-mobile sim into the phone

What features are not available? I've only ever heard of phones being locked, never having some of their features removed when using a different sim.

The features that are not available are

MMS
MP3/AAC music player
MPEG4 video recording & playback

For MMS, you probably just need to have the correct settings sent to the phone. You should be able to do this either from your sisters providers website, or from the Samsung website. As an MP3 player, you're not missing much anyway. This is has only 40mb of memor, and no card slot, so you won't be getting many tunes on there anyway. As for the video, no idea!
