Samsung ES15 vs. Samsung ES55

The AA batteries required for the ES15 put me off getting it. I'm looking at the ES55 right now because it comes with a rechargeable lithium ion battery. Spec wise I can't see any difference between them.

They look the same to me (aside from the price, battery and LCD size). Can anyone see any other differences between these cameras?
 
I'm going for the ES55 precisely for the Lithium battery option. I'm getting it for my folks for christmas, and the camera they own at the mo eats AAs every time they use it. It's terrible.
 
Because in the case of travelling, AA/AAA batteries are far easier to find and use than getting more expensive OEM specific batteries which requires charging.

Do you know what kind of memory card this needs? I think it takes some kind of 8gb sdhc card but I don't know if that's a regular sized card or a micro. Any ideas?
