I saw one today, and thought the screen looked stunning. I'm considering buying one as an upgrade to my ipad mini.

Mrs has one. I don't really think it feels very premium in regards to materials used and design but she likes it. It's a good size for reading in portrait. Not sure on the ipad as only have my xperia z2 to compare it to.
Cheers. Will also be using it to play video a lot, and thought the widescreen looked perfect for that.
