Samsung Galaxy S24 Family Thread

Updated my S24U and there seems to be something going wrong with NFC, I can no longer scan my blood glucose monitors :(

Definitely feels snapier to me. Not much else difference from what I can see.

Not tried NFC since the update.

How's everyone's batteries holding up? I've have my Ultra since launch and the battery is definitely not what it once was - which is fair enough I guess, considering age/my usage etc. :D

I think a genuine Samsung/EE replacement is currently £90. I might have to consider that in the New Year.

Mine feels the same. Had it capped to 80% from the start and 80 still feels like 80 :D

I think I started the battery protection thing quite early on, but definitely not from the start. I still get 12-16 hours from charge out of it I reckon but it feels like that's lessoned over time. - which is fair enough.

I've never had to reset this device either, which, when I've reset previous phones has definitely improved battery life - even in the short term.

Has anyone replaced their battery yet? Had my Ultra almost since launch and I've definitely noticed a decline in recent months. Only to be expected after nearly two years I guess.

I think EE/Samsung do genuine battery swap for £90.

It's been 6 months but there's finally a new Google Play system update available!

On another note, can anyone recommend me a cheap and cheerful case for my S24+? The one I got from Samsung at launch is beginning to disintegrate.
