Samsung Galaxy S25 Family Thread

Just took delivery of a S25 Edge 256GB and think i got an amazing deal.

A competitor website is offering the Edge 256GB for £579 (or the 512GB for £699).
Price matched the 256GB with Currys (they have a max cap of £500) so brought the price with Currys down to £599.
Blue Light discount brought the price down down to £570.
Samsung currently have a winter cashback offer for S25 (£250 for Edge or Ultra) that runs 18 Dec 25 - 29 Jan 26 https://samsungoffers.claims/sam/wintercashback/en-GB. So brings the phone down to........

£320!!!!

I'm also trading in my S21+, so in effect, i got an Edge for £220.

Just an FYI if anyone else is interested in any of the above.

Good price

Still available?

Yes, someone just did the same deal i did.

I don't want to mention the competitor here as although they sell mobile phones, their main business is PC stuff.

it’s on HUKD

It's been on several times and got deleted due to the Samsung cashback offer.

From HUKD:

We are not allowed to include anything FCA covered. The Virtual Mastercard® Prepaid Card https://samsungoffers.claims/sam/wintercashback/en-GB#
A Virtual Mastercard Prepaid Card is a digital, reloadable or single-use card for online/phone purchases, offering security and control, and while not offering Section 75 credit card protection, it benefits from Mastercard's chargeback scheme, with UK issuers regulated by the FCA under e-money rules

Not a bad deal, looking to replace a phone for around £350 mark for a family member who's on Huawei P30 with a screen burn at the moment.

I can also get S25 FE for similar price with EPP discount.

Looks like battery life is similar as FE is Exynos and apart from telephoto lens, Edge seems to be a winner in most respects.

EDIT: Tried Currys, it's either luck of the draw or they catching on as promised to match it minus the £250 cashback from Samsung.

Any news on the S26 release?

But 25 ultra is :p

Not my phone, I got it for the missus. I have the S24U. No plans on upgrading either. Unless I find a S26U for sub £500 and sell this on making it a super cheap upgrade :p

But honestly feels like a waste of time even that. Need a bigger upgrade to make it worth the time, let alone the money.
