Technically S25U will be end of life so whilst you might see some deals they'll be limited and clearance so when they're gone they're gone.I'm looking at switching to S25ultra from apple for few reasons and wonder if the current deal on Samsung site worth heaving? £1079 Looking at 512gb don't care much for colour or should I wait for better offers once s26 lands? Don't need the latest and greatest if I can save fair bit.

No not desperate at all, just looking for deals at best prices hence why I didn't even consider S26ultra, I can't see new phone been cheaper then S25 ultra currently with 20% off. This close to the S26U launch, I'd wait unless you're really desperate to change. The pre-order deals will probably exceed any kind of clearance deal anyway.
It depends - if they do a trade-in offer like £200 off on some hunk of junk old phone you have lying in a drawer like they've done before, it could easily exceed the saving of the S25U.No not desperate at all, just looking for deals at best prices hence why I didn't even consider S26ultra, I can't see new phone been cheaper then S25 ultra currently with 20% off.
You just never know until they release it.It depends - if they do a trade-in offer like £200 off on some hunk of junk old phone you have lying in a drawer like they've done before, it could easily exceed the saving of the S25U.
That said, everyone is very unsure due to NAND and RAM prices of what Samsung are going to offer.
I did hear they may not be doing the double storage offer this year. Possible with the RAM and storage pricing due to AI at the moment. You just never know until they release it.
Latest and greatest is not that important to me been honest as the tech is not moving year on year that much and most is AI when it comes to Samsung. Issue I have is storage on current iPhone and looking for device that has bit more. Nothing wrong with device but upgrading to one of the latest model didn't really excited me at all hency why I'm looking at Samsung. Current offering is what it is but with launch just round the corner is the unknown and I'm not much of gambling man.
I did register for the Galaxy unpack so at least should be 512 for the price of 256.
