I didn't get any launch discount codes, despite being a loyal galaxy user. Did anyone here yet one that they're not going to use that I might be able to make use of? Would be very much appreciated!!

I got a £30 watch/ring/buds discount I didn't end up using if that's of any use?

I have a 10% but you can't combine it with any other offers - I can't imagine thats worth it to you @rG-tom (unless you're buying the phone as is) but if it is you're welcome to it.
Its still valid for a few more days, drop me a PM if you want it.

I have one of those but no use to me, thanks though

I'll give it a go to see if it works out? Will DM you now

What do you guys think of the new screen o the S26U?

MB says the privacy feature is really cool but the downside is that it cuts the screen's resolution in half and reduces brightness a bit. Is it a worthy trade off?

You'll only be using it when you're using certain apps so you can set it to toggle on when in certain app e.g. banking or toggle it on from the notification toggles when sitting on public transport. It's not something to leave on all the time.

I find no issues with the screen and privacy works as intended. Of course this is not a massive upgrade over the S25U but there are no big upgrades these days.

At this moment in time, I'm thinking of returning the S26U. I'm just not feeling it with this phone and even with me having to pay out just £275 of my own money, I'm just not sure.
Weirdly one of my biggest annoyances with the phone, is the stupid camera bump! Why on earth did Samsung do this!?
The screen isn't as bright as the 24u, when its set to the same level, so it needs to be manually set, rather than being able to leave it on adaptive.

Yes technically some photos do come out better, but I've had to really nit-pick on certain ones, just to almost justify seeing a difference. The grain has been reduced, but even those pictures just look softer, rather than being too sharp, so there seems to be a bit of a compromise there.

At this moment in time, I'm going to give it a day and have a think about it, rather than rush in to anything.

Anyone else received one and having second thoughts?

I'm liking to S26 ultra and I must say i was more inclined to return the S25 Ultra after using the S24 ultra for a year beforehand.

Of course everyone is different and entitled to their own opinion. The same reviewers basically give the same reviews for the Samsung each year so it's no surprise anymore.

Reading this tells me not to even bother if i cam sell my S24U and add £100 on top to upgrade.

I think S27U might offer a better leap making the time spent moving over worth it.

I guess it really depends on your situation. If your battery in your S24U isn't as good as it once was, then upgrading to S26U for £100 wouldn't be too bad.
Just don't expect too much in terms of hardware.
